Yacht provisioning means organising food, drinks and pantry supplies for a vessel. For yacht chefs and charter teams, a useful request brings together the menu, quantities, guest preferences and the details of the next port call. RADA coordinates provisioning in Italy through a selected network of local suppliers and partners.
Start with service on board, before choosing products
A single cruise may include relaxed breakfasts, lunches under way and a dinner with wine pairings. Build the list around the meals actually planned on board, the number of guests and crew and the days to be covered. Add the menu preferences and distinguish essential ingredients from items for which an alternative would be acceptable.
Specify cuts, sizes, formats and quantities using clear units. A request for cheese, for example, is easier to assess when it includes the type, weight and intended use. For wine, the producer, label, vintage and bottle size help suppliers check the right product.
What a local supplier network means
RADA sources products through regional producers, shops and specialist suppliers in the areas around your ports of call. The aim is to connect the needs of the galley with local availability: seasonal ingredients, regional specialities, pantry essentials and wines.
RADA is the point of contact that gathers the request, checks the proposal and coordinates delivery with local partners. Availability is assessed for each supply request; a particular ingredient or wine label is not confirmed until the proposal has been agreed.
Details needed to organise a port delivery
- Yacht name, port or marina and precise meeting point.
- Requested date, delivery window and operational contact on board.
- Product list, quantities and the chef’s specifications.
- Dietary preferences and special requirements to be checked.
- Access instructions and further ports if additional deliveries are planned.
In Italy, RADA accepts enquiries for the areas listed in its ports section, including Campania, Sicily, Sardinia, Liguria and Tuscany and the Adriatic coast. Coverage of an individual port and the feasibility of a delivery must always be confirmed: a region listed on the website does not imply automatic availability.
From enquiry to confirmation
The initial list provides the basis for a proposal. Before confirming, agree on products, any substitutions, quantities, costs and delivery details. If the route changes, share the revised port call with your contact as soon as possible: a change may require a fresh check with the local network.
Start with RADA’s sample online order list or send a dedicated enquiry. The website form prepares an email for you to review and send; completing it does not create a confirmed order.
